My sincerest apologies for the delay in
sending our your section's pairings. I am currently away in Johannesburg
and will not be present for Glenwood Chess Club tomorrow evening.
The arbiter for tomorrow is Kevin Chetty. He will explain all the rules from my side to you. Default time is 30 minutes from when the round is started.
Please be at the playing hall by 6pm. Round 1 will start at 6.15pm sharp.
Time
controls: 90:90 + 15 sec increment from move 1. Please bring clocks if
you have, otherwise the player playing black needs to rent a clock at
R2. Notation is compulsory.
Round 2 to 9 will start at 6.30pm until further notice.
THERE ARE NO FRIDAYS FOR POSTPONEMENTS. If you are unable to make a round for that Friday, please notify me by 3pm
latest. The person postponing the game will have the responsibility of
making sure a catch up game is played during the 9 weeks of the
tournament (play in your own time). IF YOU FAIL TO NOTIFY ME AND DO NOT
ARRIVE FOR YOUR GAME, IT WILL BE A RATED LOSS.
Tournament is from 24/04/2015 to 19/06/2015. There will be club every Friday from tomorrow for 9 weeks until further notice.
